Blending nutrition with aesthetics
Young consumers are thinking about how they can combine skincare with healthy nutrition.
TODAY’S STORY
A popular trend for 2025 will be snack foods infused with clean ingredients marketed to help consumers combat aging, hydrate skin, and prevent acne.
According to Mintel, 37% of female consumers are willing to pay more for sports drinks that include benefits beyond sports performance, specifically skin-beneficial collagen and antioxidants. Collagen supplements, now a $5.1Bn market, are also becoming increasingly popular for balding men interested in the potential hair benefits.
Products will also feature ingredients like adaptogens (e.g., which help the body manage stress), nootropics (e.g., boost brain performance), and mood-enhancing botanicals.
Young consumers are thinking about how they can combine skincare with healthy nutrition, and brands are rushing to capture that demand.
